Greekly vs. Billhighway

A modern Billhighway alternative for chapter operations

Billhighway is a finance-first tool. Greekly is the platform for everything else your chapter does — plus dues, in one place. If your exec board is tired of bouncing between a billing tool, GroupMe, a rush spreadsheet, and a clipboard, Greekly is the consolidation.

From finance tool to full chapter platform

Most chapters that evaluate Billhighway alternatives aren't looking for a different accounting product. They're looking for a way to stop running their chapter across half a dozen tools. Finance in one place, messaging somewhere else, recruitment in a spreadsheet, attendance on a clipboard, alumni in somebody's personal contacts.

Greekly rolls all of that into one platform. Dues collection is built in — Stripe-backed, auto-reminders, live paid / unpaid view — and so are events, messaging, recruitment, risk documentation, and the alumni directory. One login, one roster, one source of truth.

What Greekly gives chapters beyond billing

  • Event attendance that sticks. Rotating check-in codes at the door, required-event tagging, per-member attendance records — standards hearings become conversations with evidence, not arguments.
  • A real recruitment pipeline. PNMs, round scheduling, votes, and electronic bids — the whole rush workflow in the same platform that collects dues.
  • Organized messaging.Channels for exec, committees, pledge class, and the full chapter. Officer-only channels for things actives shouldn't see, with end-to-end encryption on standards conversations.
  • Alumni tools. Directory, event invitations, and giving campaigns — so alumni stay connected and the chapter's network grows every year.
  • Officer transitions built in.Permissions are role-scoped. A new president inherits the position inside the platform; nothing lives on the outgoing president's personal laptop.

When Greekly is the right switch

Greekly is built for chapters that want to consolidate — not just a billing engine with add-on modules, but one platform where dues, attendance, rush, and alumni live side by side. If your exec board is juggling four or five tools every semester, the switch is less about replacing your current billing product and more about replacing your whole stack.

If your chapter only needs a compliance-focused accounting product and nothing else, Billhighway is a long-standing option. Greekly's value is that dues is one feature in a platform that replaces the rest of the tools your chapter is currently stitching together.

Frequently asked questions

Is Greekly a full replacement for Billhighway?
For most chapters, yes — Greekly handles dues collection, payment reminders, and reconciliation through Stripe, alongside events, messaging, recruitment, risk, and alumni. Chapters that also rely on Billhighway for HQ-level national accounting should scope that workflow with our team during onboarding.
Does Greekly handle dues the same way?
Greekly charges members through Stripe, auto-reminds late payers, and gives officers a live paid/unpaid board. You won't be reconciling batch exports — the payment status is live in the platform and visible to everyone with the treasurer permission.
Can we import our existing roster and dues records?
Yes. Rosters import from CSV during onboarding, and historical dues data can be imported alongside it. Our team runs a live setup session so nothing gets lost in the transition.
What else does Greekly do that a billing tool doesn't?
Event attendance tracking, recruitment pipeline (PNMs, rounds, votes, bids), organized messaging, risk and standards documentation, and an alumni directory with giving campaigns. Everything runs on the same roster and permission system.
How does pricing compare?
Pricing depends on chapter size and which features you use — contact us for a chapter-specific quote. Most chapters find all-in-one pricing comes out below what they were paying across a finance tool plus the other apps they were running.
How quickly can we switch?
Onboarding takes under an hour for most chapters. Once your roster is imported and dues are configured, the platform is usable for the next chapter meeting, the next rush round, and the next dues cycle.
