For treasurers and exec boards

Fraternity and sorority dues software that actually collects

Charge semester dues, assessments, and one-off fees. Auto-remind late payers. See who's paid and who hasn't in real time. No Venmo receipts, no chase, no reconciliation spreadsheet — just a treasurer position that someone actually wants to run for.

Why chapter dues collection is broken

Most chapters are collecting dues three ways at once: the treasurer's personal Venmo for convenience, a check drop-off for the parents who prefer it, and a college check that clears two weeks after it's due. The treasurer reconciles all three into a spreadsheet at the end of the month, chases late payers over GroupMe, and has no clean paid/unpaid view to share with the exec board.

That system collects about 70 percent of dues on time. The last 30 percent turns into the treasurer's entire semester. Greekly is the dues software that closes that gap — automated reminders, a real paid/unpaid board, and Stripe-backed payments that reconcile themselves.

What a real dues platform looks like

  • One charge, the whole roster.Create a dues charge once (for example, "Spring 2026 semester dues — $425") and assign it to the active roster. New pledges get added automatically when they cross.
  • Stripe-backed payments. Members pay with card or ACH directly through the member portal. Funds land in your chapter account. No personal Venmo, no mixing personal and chapter money.
  • Automatic late reminders. Configure a reminder schedule (for example: 3 days before due, on the due date, 7 days after). The platform nudges unpaid members without the treasurer lifting a finger.
  • Live paid/unpaid board.Every officer with the treasurer permission sees a live view: who's paid, who's unpaid, who's on a payment plan, who's past due. No batch exports, no end-of-month reconciliation.
  • Payment plans. Members who need to split dues into installments can do so through the portal. The treasurer approves, the platform schedules the charges.
  • One-off assessments. Homecoming buy-in, composite photos, formal transport — charge the full roster or a subset of members the same way you charge dues.

What treasurers actually get back

The point isn't just software — it's time. A chapter of 80 brothers or sisters typically has a treasurer spending 6–8 hours a week on dues during the heavy part of the semester: chasing individual members, reconciling Venmo screenshots, updating the spreadsheet, briefing the president. Greekly compresses that into under an hour a week, most of which is reviewing the paid/unpaid board and approving a handful of payment-plan requests.

The exec board also gets a number that's actually accurate. "What percentage of dues have we collected this semester?" is a live metric, not a spreadsheet the treasurer updates monthly.

Frequently asked questions

How does Greekly handle dues that are different per member?
Dues can be assigned at the roster level (everyone pays the same), by pledge class (new members pay a different amount), or per individual (for officers with reduced dues). Payment plans are individual as well. The platform handles all three without extra spreadsheets.
Does the money go into our chapter account?
Yes. Greekly integrates with Stripe, and your chapter connects its own chapter bank account during onboarding. Payments flow directly to your account — Greekly never holds your chapter's funds.
What about members who pay by check or cash?
You can record manual payments against a member's dues charge. The paid/unpaid board shows them as paid, and the reconciliation is tracked in the platform alongside Stripe payments.
Can we charge one-off assessments too?
Yes — homecoming buy-in, composite photos, formal transport, philanthropy contributions. Create a charge, assign it to the relevant members, and the same reminder and reconciliation workflow runs automatically.
What does the late-reminder experience look like for members?
Reminders come through email and (optionally) in-app notifications. They link directly to the payment page, so a member can pay in under a minute. No GroupMe shame, no calling out in chapter meeting.
Is this the same platform that handles events and recruitment?
Yes. Dues is one feature of Greekly — the same platform also runs event attendance, recruitment, messaging, risk documentation, and the alumni directory. One login, one roster, one source of truth.
